Welcome to my updated genealogy site.
I have made a few changes and added a few new features, the most
important being the way my genealogy data are presented.
My genealogy research started out as a quest to find out as much as
possible about the four different families that have lived on Kaldor
farm throughout the years. After publishing my data on the net in 1997
I have received a lot of mail, some with additional information, some
with questions. Partly as a result of this my database now contains
more than 10.000 names. Most of them are people born in Øyer and
Tretten,
but the surrounding parishes, especially Ringebu, is represe nted as
well.
You can search for names using the fields to the right, or browse
surnames, places etc. from the top menu. The data are open to all, but
if you wan't to download anything as gedcoms you will have to register
as an user.
Genealogy is like a never-ending puzzle. This site is a start, there
are a number of holes and some bits might be in the wrong place. If you
