    I tillegg til de registrerte hadde Simen i følge Hans Kraabøl døtrene Benedikte og Elen Sophie.
    Simen skal i følge Hans Kraabøl ha delt Steen mellom to av sønnene. Dette stemmer med folketellingen i 1865, Sten er da todelt. I følge Aschehoug og Gyldendals leksikon var dette Gabriel (som fikke øvre Sten) og Christoffer (som fikk nedre Sten).
    I 1865 er Sten delt i to. På den ene bor Anton Fougner, født 1834/35, ugift. På den andre bor Hans S. Fougner, født 1827/28, ugift. Hos Hans bor tanten Anne B. Vardrum, som må være Simens eldste datter, Anne Borgine. Hans S(igvart) er nevnt som sønn av Christoffer i G&A leksikon, han overtok senere Sørum i Hole. Anton er sannsynligvis sønn av Gabriel, men dette vites ikke.

    Fikke en uekte datter (med en svenske) mens hun var på Hoen i Buskerud som husholderske hos sin bror Simen. Datteren, Berte, skal ha vokst opp hos sin tante, Thora gift til Tallloug. Senere giftet Rønnoug seg med Jacob Olsen Reistad nordre,
    og fikk en datter (4 år i 1801) som også ble kalt Rønnoug. Moren døde omtrent samtidig, Jacob bor med Rønnoug på Fierdrum i 1801
